1.First question is “What is the best density of topper to wear in an up style?”
That’s a hard question to answer because it really depends on how the topper feels on your head. You can probably wear these ones up in a ponytail. Besids, it really depends on how much hair loss you have.
2. Should I order a big size like 10*10 inch if I have very little hair?
For some people, their hair will naturally grow so it really depends from person to person.For some people, they find that the larger pieces are a bit more comfortable than the really really small ones, it just does depend on how much of hair you’ve got for the clips of the topper to clip onto.
3.how to deal with issues with the topper are not laying as flat as I want?
You know there are air bubbles under there, but you can’t really tell from just holding it and looking at it. Adjust the topper base to match your scalp. The below chart was sent by one of our customer who had the issue with topper application. Everyone has different head shape, so please feel free to contact our customer service to describe your own issue and sent the picture to us if possible.
4. How do I do when I feel weird or look fake when I first to buy a topper?
First, you may tell yourself that this is a solution for your thinning hair. If possible, we recommend you to try one topper in a offline wig store before you place the order on Internet. Because then you know exactly the topper size, base type, length and color you want. This would be easily to purchase a perfect topper for you. If you feel the color is very obvious different from your bio hair, consider to buy a natural black topper, which could be bleached and dyed, color it by yourself or your stylist into your own perfect one.
5. Is it hot to wear a topper in Summer?
Compared with wigs, hair toppers would be much more breathable and comfortable to wear. That is because of the base material. We suggest you may consider purchasing a lace or silk base topper in summer. There is no doubt that the lace base with small holes is very breathable while the silk could control its temperature on your head.
6. Which topper base is suitable for me?
We offer three types pf base constructions. There are Lace, Silk and Mono base. if you are light or fair skin tone, you can choose the Mono base; If you are tan olive or dark skin tone, choose lace topper. Usually the silk topper base would be thicker than lace and mono topper. If you got larger hair loss area, then you may consider to have the silk topper.
7. How to blend the topper with my bio hair?
Wearing your hair topper about 1 or 1.5 inch back from your hairline. Comb your front hair out of the topper, spray and style the front hair to hide the topper base. If it matches your hair color, it would be quite easy for you to blend it in. If you find it’s hard to blend it in because of the slightly different color from your bio hair, you may consider having a lace front hair topper to help you cover your front hair up. The lace can actually come right down to the front of your hairline ,the lace will kind of sit in a jagged line and you all baby hair will be coming out of the lace, which will make it illusion of being like the front of your hairline.
8. How to do a parting line on hair toppers?
Customers always stuck with this issue. Hair toppers are 100% handmade by craft-workers, and the parting line is a default. It truly a little bit hard to change a parting line when you first time take your topper out from the box because it is just like our natural hair, if you are middle part, when you need side part someday, you may need to wash first, then do the side part would be easier. That’s the same trick as the topper.
